David Wolk, President
David Wolk is the president of Goodway Group, an 83-year-old marketing services company that owns and operates a Custom Audience Platform to identify and market to the right users at the right time online.
Originally founded by David’s grandfather Milton Wolk, Goodway Group was established in 1929. Now David continues his family legacy by continually propelling Goodway Group’s growth through product innovation and key strategic alliances. Over the past 30 years, his company has served up only the most innovative and measurable programs to provide clients with proven results. And under his careful hand and guidance, Goodway Group has thrived to become one of the largest privately held digital media companies in the country.
Though Goodway Group is best known for serving automotive-industry clients, such as GM, Chrysler, Audi, Honda, Subaru, Porsche, and Volkswagen, David has been involved with diverse business ventures throughout his tenure and has provided marketing expertise to Columbia Motion Pictures, McDonald’s, General Electric, HBO, Comcast, Goodyear, and hundreds of other companies. He continues to build relationships with Fortune 500 and smaller businesses, which require local market expertise and execution.
David joined Goodway Group in 1979—after graduating from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor of science in economics degree and spending a year traveling through Europe in a VW van—becoming the third generation to take part in the family business.
After years of coaching his kids’ teams, David now actively plays golf and tennis and enjoys skiing, swimming, biking, playing guitar, photography, and cruising in his restored ’67 Vette. David lives in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania, with his wife, Sue. His daughter graduated from Syracuse University and works for an interactive agency in Philadelphia; his son graduated from Lehigh University and works for a digital media company in NYC.
